An area of outstanding natural beauty

Mytton Fold is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, well-known for its scenic countryside, delicious food and famous landmarks, Ribble Valley is at the official centre of the United Kingdom and is a place infused with history, holding a wonderfully rich heritage.

The Ribble Valley is the perfect place for you to escape the frantic pace of everyday life, whatever the time of year. It can revitalise your senses with its spectacular commanding fells and lush green valleys.

The surrounding area offers an abundance of walks for you to choose from – you really are spoilt for choice! Our favourites include Pendle Hill which is a fantastic walk with exhilarating views. Beneath the hill lie pretty villages which reveal a history of witchcraft and intrigue, spanning 400 years. Hurst Green Village marks the very start of the famous Tolkien Trail walk.
