Walks
The surrounding area offers an abundance of walks for you to choose from – you really are spoilt for choice! Our favourites include Pendle Hill which is a fantastic walk with exhilarating views. Beneath the hill lie pretty villages which reveal a history of witchcraft and intrigue, spanning 400 years. Hurst Green Village marks the very start of the famous Tolkien Trail walk.

Days Out
The Ribble Valley has something for everybody. From museums, castles and historic houses for those that are interested in history, to coast trips for those wanting to feel the sand under their feet. Entertain the whole family with a fun farm day or take part in an arts and crafts experience.

Golf
We are big fans of golf here at Mytton Fold and are lucky to have a 18-hole golf course onsite, with buggy hire available too.

Shooting
For thrill-seekers, a shooting day is the perfect adrenaline-filled experience. The Ribble Valley is closely located to many shooting grounds including popular clay pigeon shooting and rifle shooting.
